What are the conditions for foreigners to buy houses in Guangzhou?

According to the latest news in 2018, Guangzhou cancels the rule of the previous year's proof of residence and work required for a full year for foreigners (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) who want to purchase houses in Guangzhou. Now foreigners only need to provide relevant study, work, proof of residence and proof of the unit. The foreigners have no houses in Guangzhou and can purchase one set of self-occupied houses after review. This is undoubtedly a very good news for foreigners.
